Role Overview

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with a passion for patient care. You will be integral in providing support, advice, and assessment for patients diagnosed with head, neck, and thyroid cancers throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for patients, offering holistic needs assessments and ongoing support.
• Triage urgent calls and provide assistance in clinical settings.
• Support the Clinical Nurse Specialist team in delivering complex care and improving patient pathways.
• Co-ordinate patient care to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Assist in data collection and analysis to track patient progress and enhance service quality.

Required Skills and Experience

• Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Experience in a clinical environment is advantageous.
• Proficient use of IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages.
• A proactive approach to identifying care needs and improving patient pathways.
