Overview

This role is exclusively open to applicants currently employed within an NHS Trust in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (HIOW ICS). An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic administrator to join Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's medical student administrative team supporting education and training of medical students across Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust.

This is a 12-month maternity cover position. The post holder will act as Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's Trust liaison with Southern Housing for student accommodation on the Basingstoke site. The position will be based at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, but flexibility to work at both Winchester and Basingstoke sites is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure complex programmes are planned and coordinated for students’ placements in all clinical areas.
  • Provide support for the education and training of medical students.
  • Maintain effective communication with various stakeholders, including students and faculty.

Requirements

Education and Skills

  • Experience working in medical education in an administrative role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan ahead and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively for self and others.

Work Schedule

The planned days for this post are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
