Manpower UK Limited is recruiting for a metal shop production operative to work out of Manpower UK Limited's client's workshop located in a modern, bright, and dynamic warehouse environment based in the Skypark Business Park on the edge of Exeter.

About the Role

As a Metal Shop Production Operative, you will be working with various metals, including stainless steel, brass, and mild steel to manufacture parts for high-end products. Your tasks will include:

• Using a wide range of tools and machinery, including punch presses and brakes, and power presses.
• MIG welding with a variety of materials.
• Welding, polishing, and grinding.
• Painting and degreasing.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A keen multitasking ability with a willingness to learn new skills and be trained across a variety of operations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks daily.
• Comfort with handling heavy items.
• Previous experience in punch presses and brakes, and power presses is desirable.
• MIG welding experience is advantageous but not essential.
