Grade: F scp 11 £28,770 to scp 23 £32,076 pro rata’d £6,998 to £7,802

Contract: Fixed Term, end 29 June 2025

Essential requirements: Driving and experience in youth work and working with young people required.

Hours: 9 per week, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evening.

The Role

Working in various communities across the borough, you will be part of a responsive team that engages young people involved in or at risk of anti-social behaviour. You will offer support and guidance for young people and signpost them into local positive activities.

About You

You should be happy to work in all weathers and possess a real passion for working with young people and the community. Patience, good communication skills, and the ability to use your initiative in an ever-changing environment are essential. A basic level of fitness is required, as you will need to walk in various communities during unsociable hours. You will also need to complete monitoring forms and reports based on the information gathered during the sessions.
