Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust have an exciting vacancy for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust's dynamic community mental health team working across Medway and Swale HTT. This post is suitable for both newly qualified occupational therapists and those with some experience looking to expand their knowledge within a community mental health setting.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in developing skills to work with service users who have complex mental health needs. Essential Requirements
- To assist in identifying, developing, and providing the Occupational Therapy contribution within the multi-disciplinary service.
- To assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate therapeutic interventions for identified service users.
- To manage a defined caseload of service users with occupational needs using evidence-based, service user-centred, hope and recovery, health promotion, and relapse prevention principles.
Driving Requirements
The post holder must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for business purposes unless a disability is defined by the Equality Act 2010.
