Are you a highly motivated Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference within the specialism of palliative and end of life care? A proactive Occupational Therapist opportunity has arisen to join Barts Health NHS Trust's Specialist Palliative Care multi-professional Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide an evidence-based Occupational Therapy (OT) service to palliative care patients at home.
- Deliver safe Palliative care services over the Whipps Cross site.
- Focus on adaptation, enablement, rehabilitation, and therapeutic interventions.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of the OT service.
- Work autonomously with the Palliative team to contribute to exemplary care for patients and their families.
- Be a resource and support to hospital staff and community professionals by offering OT knowledge and skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong skills in hospital and community working.
- Experience in supporting patients with advanced and terminal illnesses.
- Ability to manage complex and rapidly changing patient needs.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is £40,701 - £48,054 Per Annum Inc (Pay Award Pending).
