Prescription Delivery Driver

Overview

Cohens Chemist is looking to recruit a 6 Hour Prescription Delivery Driver on a part-time permanent contract to work at Cohens Chemist's Merritt Medical Centre branch.

Working Hours

• Monday: 10:00-11:00
• Tuesday: 10:00-11:00
• Wednesday: 10:00-11:00
• Thursday: 10:00-11:00
• Friday: 10:00-11:00

Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing, and residential homes while providing a high standard of customer service. You will portray a friendly professional image and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand. Attention to detail is paramount as you will ensure that prescription items are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures.

This role requires you to have very basic computer skills to plan and print your daily routes before you start your deliveries.

Reimbursement

Reimbursement for mileage undertaken on business journeys will be at a rate of 40p per mile up to 10,000 miles, after which 25p a mile will be reimbursed as per HMRC guidelines. Fuel receipts should be obtained for each visit to the petrol station, and the mileage claim submitted weekly.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old as per Cohens Chemist's site H&S risk assessment. You are required to use your own vehicle for this role, and your personal insurance policy must allow for business use.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate must have great people skills, as this is paramount to your role. You will work as part of a well-established team to ensure Cohens Chemist's customers receive a high standard of service.
