Prison Job Adviser

Overview

Career Connect is looking for an enthusiastic and confident Prison Job Adviser to deliver the CFO Evolution contract in the North-West. This role works with offenders in custody and through the Gate to help them achieve their resettlement goals.

The position involves engaging with individuals on remand or serving custodial and community-based sentences, under the supervision of the National Probation Service, to promote learning, training, and employment opportunities through both one-to-one and group work.

As a member of the Flexible Response Team, you will have the opportunity to work across various prisons in the Lancashire area, as well as with offenders in the community. This is a fantastic chance to make a real difference in people’s lives and the community.

You’ll need to be:

• confident and proactive
• a good communicator with a non-judgemental approach
• effective at collaborating with partner organisations to achieve the best results for participants
• comfortable working with databases and detail-oriented
