Join NatWest Group as a Project Manager.

  • Join the Operations Centre of Excellence in a high profile and influential role that will deliver the five year strategic vision for Operations and transform the operational capability across the bank.
  • You’ll play a key role in driving change across Operations, and NatWest Group’ll look to you to deliver goals on time, within budget and to the highest quality.

In your new role, you’ll lead a work initiative, preparing, managing and providing reporting on all project plans, controls and resource plans. You’ll make sure that activities are in place to adequately prepare the business and engage all the appropriate stakeholders effectively to enable change to be implemented and handed over.

Additionally, you’ll be building and maintaining a positive working relationship with senior stakeholders across multiple franchises, domains and functions and at different levels of hierarchy.

You’ll also be:

  • Empowering and leading a team, often in multiple geographies, through the project lifecycle.
  • Identifying, tracking, managing and mitigating any project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
  • Leading and defining project documentation and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Tracking and reporting project costs to ensure completion within budget.
  • Shaping business cases or benefits realization and securing funding via investment processes.
  • Addressing policy and control shortfalls and implementing strategic solutions.

You’ll need to hold an appropriate project management qualification and have experience in change management within a banking Operations team.

It'll be ideal if you have experience of Agile processes and ceremonies.

  • Experience of driving large scale automation or AI.
  • Experience of analysing a broad range of data to support decision making.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to produce executive level presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with multiple stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking skills to cut through complexity and make sound decisions.
