About the Role

As a Property Maintenance Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting inspections of occupied and unoccupied properties.
  • Identifying and recording repair issues.
  • Raising necessary work orders.
  • Taking ownership of each case until all issues are resolved.
  • Monitoring completed work to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

About You

You will naturally put the tenants at the heart of everything you do. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical experience in repairs and maintenance services, with the ability to effectively diagnose property repair needs and issue appropriate work orders in compliance with Livin Housing's policies and procedures. Monitoring contractors to ensure high standards of workmanship is crucial in this role.

Proficiency in using digital customer and asset systems is essential, as is understanding the critical importance of data quality in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Ideally, you will hold a Level 5 qualification in Surveying, Building Studies, or Construction (or equivalent) and demonstrate a commitment to continuous personal development. Willingness to undertake further relevant study, such as the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS), is required.
