Part Time Cleaner

Overview

Enjoy East Lothian Ltd is looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join Enjoy East Lothian Ltd's team at North Berwick Sports Centre.

Job Purpose

To assist in delivering a high-quality cleaning service within Enjoy Leisure Centres.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning all furniture, fixtures, and fittings to the specified standard.
• Maintaining sanitary fittings to the specified standard.
• Carrying out floor maintenance procedures including dust control and suction cleaning.
• Removing rubbish and transporting it to the allocated point.
• Informing the Assistant Service Manager when to order cleaning materials.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting a safe work environment.
• Complying with Centre training and procedures.
• Performing other duties appropriate to the role.

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience of cleaning and knowledge of cleaning equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
• Planning and prioritizing workloads effectively.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience in basic cleaning duties.
• Health and Safety awareness.

Desirable Qualifications

• BICS Cleaning Qualification or equivalent.
• Health and Safety training.

Salary and Hours

Salary: £22,069.00 (pro rata), £11.44 per hour. Minimum guaranteed hours: 10 per week, typically between 05:30am - 08:30am.
