Hireway TM is seeking Traffic Management Operatives in the Portsmouth area. Permanent contract from day 1!

Rate of Pay:

• Up to £18.00 per hour

Role and Responsibilities:

• Receive briefing from the Lead Operative prior to the commencement of each contract.
• Develop a clear understanding of the hazards involved and safe methods to be employed for each contract, prior to leaving the yard.
• Organisation and control of the safe loading and securing of all equipment onto TMIV's in accordance with appropriate regulations prior to transporting to or from site.
• Complete all procedures in accordance with Company Policy, including vehicle defect sheets and installation checklists.
• Ensure all Operatives have the correct P.P.E. and any other equipment necessary for the activity.
• Effective liaison with clients on-site to promote a positive company image.
• Install, maintain and remove all Traffic Management required as per briefing given by the Lead Operative/Contracts Department/Clients.
• Implement and communicate any changes to pre-planned activities to the operations department.
• Ensure all paperwork is up to date and returned to the contracts department upon completion of the contract.
• Maintain TMIV's in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each shift.
• Return all equipment to the pre-determined location upon return to the yard.
• Record and communicate any losses or damage of equipment to the contracts department.
• Complete all yard duties as requested by management.

Requirements:

• MUST be drug and alcohol free.
• Lantra accreditation required (M1, M2 minimum).
• UK driving license required (with 2 years experience and no more than 3 points, must be 25 or over due to insurance purposes).
