Retirement Living Facilities Manager Immediate Start

Overview

4Recruitment Services is seeking a Retirement Living Facilities Manager to support residents in maintaining their well-being and independence while delivering quality property management services that respond to customer and business needs.

Job Overview

This role requires working Monday to Friday, totaling 20 hours per week, with 4 hours each day.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responding to emergencies
• Monitoring residents’ well-being
• Liaising with multidisciplinary teams such as Social Services
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with residents, their relatives, and relevant external agencies
• Welcoming new residents and assisting them in settling into their new home, advising them on the alarm system and available facilities
• Conducting regular Health and Safety and fire risk assessments to ensure the safety and security of the scheme
• Reporting and recording accidents, incidents, near misses, and acts of aggression in line with company procedures
• Ensuring a safe working environment for employees, the public, and contractors
• Maintaining budgetary constraints when incurring costs, including obtaining quotations for non-emergency works
• Managing the annual tender process for cleaning, gardening, and window cleaning contracts
• Addressing generic leaseholder matters, including neighbour disputes and breaches of lease
• Assisting with resident consultations as necessary

Essential Requirements

• Relevant experience of working with older people
• Sensitive and appropriate manner when dealing with residents
• Ability to remain calm in difficult situations
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to keep accurate records and write reports
