Receptionist

Kingswood Medical Centre is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic receptionist to join our busy, but well-established team on a full or part time basis, depending on the successful applicant.

The main duties include:

• Receiving, assisting and directing patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way either via telephone or face to face contact.
• Providing general assistance to the practice team and projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person, via email or via the telephone.

We are looking for a receptionist to join our busy practice team and help make a positive impact on our local community.

Applicants should have the following:

• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
• A positive approach and are able to work on their own initiative and to be able to multitask.
• Previous healthcare or customer service experience would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of primary care and SystmOne is an advantage.
• Flexible and willing to work morning and afternoon hours.
