Overview

At Battersea, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home's Dog Operations team is responsible for delivering the highest standards of animal welfare and care for every dog in their journey through Battersea, from intake, to their care and assessments and then to rehoming.

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is looking for someone to lead a care group within the dog assessing & welfare team at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home's London centre, ensuring the best possible outcomes for dogs in Battersea’s care whilst providing the highest standard of husbandry and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team responsible for the care and assessment of dogs.
  • Implement and recommend behavioural programmes for dogs.
  • Deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Make decisions regarding dogs' behavioural assessments.
