School Crossing Patroller

You will be required to ensure the safety of children and pedestrians crossing the road. It is essential that you have effective communication skills, demonstrate road sense knowledge, and be able to work in inclement weather.
Responsibilities
- Maintain control over children awaiting your instructions to cross.
- Report any problems or difficulties to the facilities co-ordinator.
- Co-operate with the introduction of new procedures and/or equipment.
- Operate in accordance with the current Health and Safety at Work Legislation.
Work Hours
Various positions working between the hours of 08:15-09:15 & 14:30-15:30, Monday to Friday, Term Time.
Requirements
- Disclosure Scotland check required; level of check determined by duties.
- Ability to work in inclement weather.
Salary and Benefits
The salary ranges from £12.00 to £12.15 per hour.
