Senior Engineer

Overview

Role Overview:

My client is a World Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Company. They are currently delivering a major substation project in the Carlisle area and need reinforcements in the form of a Senior Engineer. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering projects and will be responsible for leading a section of the project with a couple of engineers under their supervision.

Duties Include:

• Manage all engineering activity, providing direction to the direct workforce and subcontractors
• Ensure quality control to meet standards in accordance with design specifications
• Assist in producing permits to break ground, including CAT scanning management
• Ensure the highest health, safety, and environmental standards are met on-site, adhering to the client's and business's requirements
• Liaise with the site team to approve materials, ensuring they meet specifications
• Maintain accurate records of progress reports, site diaries, and resource allocations
• Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD
