Senior Facilities Manager

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager in Wales. The role focuses on excellence across the Facilities Management teams in Wales, driving the continuous development of the profession.

Responsibilities

Your understanding of hard and soft FM, combined with leadership and communication skills, will enable you to make a significant difference.

• Share knowledge and experience to become a regional focal point for FM teams.
• Work with other specialist disciplines to find solutions to a wide range of challenges.
• Support and develop facilities teams based at properties across the region.
• Ensure the effective management of significant historic buildings, maintaining operational efficiency and safety.
• Manage projects with associated budgets and collaborate with property operations teams.

Requirements

• Experience as a Facilities Manager with relevant vocational experience or professional qualification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of technical, compliance, and risk management aspects of facilities management.
• Experience with risk assessments and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to develop and implement maintenance programmes and manage budgets.
• Familiarity with listed and historic buildings and experience in reviewing technical proposals.
