The Vine Medical Centre's vacancy is for a salaried GP with a potential partnership. With a sizeable patient population of approximately 13,000, The Vine Medical Centre focus on continuity of care and a wealth of clinical knowledge. The Vine Medical Centre's staff roster includes 4 partners, 4 salaried GPs, an extensive nursing team, and external services such as podiatry, midwife appointments, and physiotherapy. The Vine Medical Centre's admin team collaborates regularly with The Vine Medical Centre's mental health nurse and paramedic, ensuring robust support for The Vine Medical Centre's clinicians.

Main Duties

• Deliver excellent clinical care while complying with the GMS contract and QoF targets.
• Participate in covering the duty doctor session on a rotational basis.
• Offer generic prescribing, maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with the practice and wider PCN team.
• Attend practice meetings and ensure compliance with the appraisal process.
• Prepare and complete the revalidation process.
• Commit to self-learning and support the training of medical students.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

• National Performers List registration.
• Appropriate defence indemnity (MPS/MDU).
• Eligibility to practice in the UK independently.
• Excellent communication and strong IT skills.

Desirable

• Experience in a primary care environment.
• Competent in Office and Outlook.

Qualifications

Essential

• Qualified GP with full GMC registration.

Desirable

• MRCGP or equivalent.
