East Sussex County Council is looking to recruit a Senior Practitioner to join East Sussex County Council’s Transitions Service. East Sussex County Council's staff work with adults with learning disabilities, their families and carers, contributing to making a positive impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and guidance to East Sussex County Council's staff through daily support and regular supervision.
• Focus on workforce development by identifying training and opportunities.
• Collaborate with health colleagues and key partner agencies.
• Oversee inquiries relating to Safeguarding.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to training and personal development.
• Able to meet the travel requirements of the post.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a Social Work qualification.

East Sussex County Council's hybrid working arrangements allow for a mix of home and office-based work throughout the week. You will need to travel across the county to visit clients. Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
