Overview

Teaching Vacancies is looking for a talented individual to help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for Teaching Vacancies's young people. Your experience of pastoral care will place Teaching Vacancies's learners’ welfare at the heart of the school.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills, with the ability to problem solve and provide excellent customer service to Teaching Vacancies's community.

Requirements

• 5 A*-Cs at GCSE including English and Maths.
• UK Forces experience and Duke of Edinburgh Instructor qualification.
• Previous experience of working with learners of all ages or dealing with members of the public in a busy setting.
• Effective use of ICT.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

About Small Heath Leadership Academy

Small Heath Leadership Academy in Birmingham is a secondary school for 11 to 18 year olds. Teaching Vacancies joined Star Academies in 2018 and, like all Star schools, Teaching Vacancies have a leadership specialism.
