Teaching Assistant – Level 2 (Special) at Brynllywarch Hall School, Satellite Base of Brynbach on the site of Ysgol Maesydderwen, Ystradgynlais.

Job Summary

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join eTeach UK Limited's dynamic team. The successful candidate will support students with challenging behaviours.

Contract Details

Type: Fixed Term Contract Initially

Start Date: As soon as possible

Pay: Grade 5 (pt7 – pt9)

Responsibilities

• Work with groups of 8 to 10 students as well as one-on-one.
• Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Requirements

• Experience working with students facing challenges.
• Strong motivation and commitment to assist students.

Background Checks

The successful applicant will be subject to a Powys County Council Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). Two satisfactory references will be required before starting the position.
