Posted:A unique opportunity to begin a career in passive fire protection has opened up due to company expansion and increased work load. The role consists of the following, although not limited to; assisting the team with the installation of fire doors, undertaking fire door maintenance and servicing, installation of passive fire protection systems, other carpentry and joinery related works.
The role is ideal for someone who is newly qualified in carpentry/joinery, self employed and is willing to learn new skills in the passive fire sector. The role offers training and guidance with a view of progression over time into a fully 3rd party accredited fire door installer under the FIRAS scheme.
Pay will be through the CIS Scheme on a subcontractor basis to be paid on the last working day of the month.
Rates negotiable depending on experience/qualifications.

- Local to Burton on Trent.
Desirable:
- Carpentry/Joinery & Passive Fire Qualifications.
- Knowledge/experience of fire door regulation, terminology & best working practices.
- FIRAS accredited.
Additional pay:
- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
