Team Leader

Overview

East Sussex County Council’re looking for a Team Leader to spearhead East Sussex County Council's Residential Support Workers at Lansdowne Secure Children’s home. Lansdowne is a secure children’s home run by East Sussex County Council which houses some of the most vulnerable young people aged between 10 to 17 from across the UK. With a fantastic skilled team, plus a state-of-the-art nurturing environment, the residents are offered all-round support.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead shifts for residential support workers.
• Engage with children and ensure their emotional and physical wellbeing is being cared for.
• Address challenging behaviors constructively and proactively.

Shift and Schedule

• Weekend availability required.
• Day shift responsibilities.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Experience working with challenging young people.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Organized and self-motivated.
