XPO is looking for a talented Transport Coordinator to join XPO on a full-time, permanent basis on XPO's day shift in Crick. You will ensure that safety, service, and savings targets are adhered to, working with a team ethos to provide excellent service to all customers while fostering trust and respectful relationships. As part of XPO's transport network operations, you’ll oversee a team of drivers, managing briefs and debriefs.

XPO’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,770. Benefits include:

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Co-ordinate transport operations to meet customer and company expectations
• React positively to dynamic customer demands
• Ensure effective use of transport planning systems
• Support peers to achieve business and personal goals
• Proactively prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Liaise with management for efficient use of resources
• Ensure drivers comply with working time regulations

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Understanding of fast-paced transport teams
• Experience in a Transport environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Good working knowledge of UK Geography
• Aware of Large Goods Vehicles and trailer types
• Experience in a challenging Customer Service environment
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages
