Tanning Sales Consultant

Overview

Sun Shack is seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Tanning Consultant to join Sun Shack's very fast-paced salon. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting tanning products, and ensuring a clean and safe tanning environment. This position involves varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends, with mandatory holiday and sickness cover.

Duties

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the tanning salon
• Provide detailed information about tanning packages, lotions, and accessories
• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate tanning equipment
• Operate tanning beds and ensure they are clean and maintained
• Educate customers on protective eyewear and safety guidelines
• Monitor tanning sessions for customer satisfaction
• Process payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of the salon, including sanitizing and restocking
• Stay updated with industry trends to provide informed recommendations

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service preferred
• Knowledge of tanning equipment is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic computer skills for processing payments
