Technical Specialist

Overview

Thames Water is looking for a Technical Specialist to join Thames Water at Thames Water. This is a full-time permanent position. You will work within the operations team in Northeast London, contributing to project delivery and liaising with colleagues to deliver ambitious Capex Programmes for AMP8.

• Provide site technical information about existing asset conditions and functionality.
• Participate in HAZOP/OPMAN/SWIFTs as required.
• Check and review team outputs for compliance with objectives and regulations.
• Ensure project objectives are met and best-value solutions achieved.
• Provide health and safety support through audits and permit issuance.

What should you bring to the role?

• Experience in operations, maintenance, or engineering in the Water/Utilities industry.
• Formal engineering qualification and/or drinking water treatment competence.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety in an industrial environment.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
