Ward 7 is a busy environment seeking an individual who can provide a warm and welcoming approach to all patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will lead in managing and organizing patient records, admissions, transfers, and discharges using appropriate IT systems.

Main duties of the job

  • Good communication and IT skills are essential, ensuring that IT systems remain operational.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Respond to ward requests from staff and facilitate communication across the hospital.
  • Liaise with the senior nurse in charge and maintain a welcoming environment for visitors.
  • Provide administrative support to the ward team with minimal supervision.
