Workshop Engineer

Overview

Are you an experienced Workshop Engineer? Infinity Recruitment Consultancy Limited's client based in West Bromwich is seeking a Workshop Engineer to join them on a permanent full-time basis, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy workshop environment
• Problem solving and mechanical and electrical fault finding on construction machinery / plant machinery
• Servicing and repairing of equipment
• Involvement in pre-delivery inspections
• Checking new machines, fixing attachments, checking tyres, oil levels, etc.
• Yard duties including the checking in of machines, unloading lorries, and maintaining a clean and tidy workshop

Skills Required

• At least 12 months recent experience in a similar role
• Servicing and repair experience of construction machinery / plant machinery or similar
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Hard working and reliable
• Own transport required
