Weekend Kitchen Assistant

Description:

Tates of Sussex is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to work in Tates of Sussex's busy kitchen at Paradise Park in Newhaven. This is a daytime role, with no evenings or split shifts. You will be expected to assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and service.

In this role you will be required to:

• Help with the daily operation in the kitchen, preparing food according to Tates of Sussex's branded menu.
• Have a good understanding of food safety legislation.
• Work collaboratively within the team to produce meals to the highest standards, while meeting target service times from kitchen to table.

Prerequisites

Previous experience working in the catering industry is essential for this role. You should be able to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.

Shift and Schedule

The working hours for this role are on weekends only, from 8am to 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
