Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: e.g. 4 on, 4 off – 06:00-14:00

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating DHL's daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• DHL Multi user site
• Monday- Friday 2pm-10pm
• Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
• Assist with the unloading of vehicles and the checking-in of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
• Pick and pack products which includes unboxing, labelling, re-boxing and stacking products on pallets.

WHAT DO DHL NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role.
• Previous counterbalance experience is desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.

A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or equivalent will be well-received.
