Warehouse Operative

Overview

Completing orders correctly for deliver and pick up according to schedule.

Scan, sort items and place on racks when restocked into the warehouse.

Warehouse Inventory control - Routine check on inventory stocks.

Keeping work area clean.

Packaging products for inventory stock and delivery.

Products description - check info is correct, update info, add descriptions (products details, nutrition table, product usage, did you know? Section etc).

Attend to physical customers.

Shelving and restocking inventory when low.

Handle Deliveries to and pick ups from Suppliers to Customers.

Using the bandsaw, Also cutting and packing meat and vegetable into appropriate sizes.

Keeping fridges, freezers, fridge room and Freezer room neat and tidy.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be a vital part of Niyis African Supermarket's logistics team, utilizing your core skill in driving to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods. Your premium skills in delivery driving, van operation, and commercial driving will be instrumental in executing deliveries accurately and safely. Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver.
• Commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: £23,349.00 per year.
