Warehouse Operative

Overview

Job purpose

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient replenishment, ferrying, and bulk storage control within the Talbot Green depot. You will undertake normal Warehouse Operative activities such as the assembly and/or loading of customers' orders. A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is seeking motivated, friendly, hard-working individuals who thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Accurate assembly of customer orders
• Loading goods onto cages and/or packing goods into crates in a safe, stable, and manageable manner
• Accurate marking and storage of assembled orders awaiting dispatch
• Driving of machinery in a warehouse controlled environment

Key knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications required

Essential:

• Numerate and literate

Desirable but not essential:

• Full Driving licence
• Reach/counterbalance FLT licence
• Warehousing and distribution experience
• NVQ2 Storage and Warehousing is desired but not essential as training is provided
