Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Overview

This is a permanent position with shifts from 1.30pm to 10pm or 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday.

The Job People is looking for a candidate with management experience within Ecommerce and next day delivery.

Duties of a Warehouse Operations Supervisor include:

• Working in the Distribution centre
• Coordinating the work of all operatives
• Managing internet orders, picking, packing, replenishment, and goods in
• Managing up to 40 staff
• Monitoring delivery times (next day) and SLA's
• Motivating and training staff
• Developing team skills

Experience required for this role includes:

• Previous warehouse or DC knowledge within Ecommerce and next day delivery
• A minimum of 1 year management or supervisory experience
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• Good communication skills
• A proven track record of managing high-performing teams
• Training in first aid, fire Marshall, IOSH or Mental Health is an advantage
• Experience in logistics distribution and supply chain

Details of the position include:

• Based in Cannock, Staffordshire
• Working afternoons, Monday to Friday
• Hourly rate of £14.89
