Job Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of direct patient care to various surgical patients.
• Enhance patient care while developing clinical competencies.
• Work under the guidance of the Ward Manager and multi-disciplinary team.
• Accountable for nursing practice and adherence to HMT and NMC policies.
• Assist in the professional development of junior staff and learners.

• Registered Adult Nurse.
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.

• Surgical Nursing Experience.
• Completion of relevant training and development.
• Mentoring experience.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to care for various surgical specialties.
• Capable of analyzing and prioritizing patient care.
• Experience in mentoring new staff and maintaining high care standards.
• Proficient in safe medication administration and accurate patient documentation.

Desirable

• Teaching qualification.
