As the public face of Scotney Castle, you'll provide a warm, friendly welcome, giving information about the property, answering questions, and ensuring everyone has an enjoyable visit.
Summary
In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering a great all-round customer service experience. You will be on hand to answer queries and listen to what National Trust's visitors need, sharing the right information to make sure they have the best day possible.
Salary and Contract
Salary: £11.64 per hour
Contract: 10-month fixed-term contract. This role is based on annualised hours, where the number of hours you work each month may vary, but your salary will be paid in equal instalments.
Working Pattern
The working pattern will be 3 days a week, with regular weekend and bank holiday shifts. This contract is due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave, and it is unlikely to last more than 10 months.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Answering visitor queries and ensuring their needs are met.
- Participating in various aspects of the visitor experience, including property events and social media promotion.
You will be part of a dedicated team, reporting to the Welcome Manager, working alongside 12 other staff members at Scotney Castle.
