Welcome & Service Manager

Overview

National Trust have an exciting opportunity to lead the Welcome team across the Attingham Estate. As the Welcome & Service Manager, you'll head up a staff and volunteer team of 13 members and 40+ volunteers, responsible for delivering the 'Growing Support' strategy to engage visitors and drive membership sales and donations.

Internally known as a Welcome Manager, you will work regular weekends and bank holidays. This role requires a satisfactory enhanced DBS check as you will work with vulnerable groups including children.

Your primary workplace will be Attingham Park, one of the most visited National Trust sites. Your mission is to ensure every visitor has a fantastic experience that encourages repeat visits.

Responsibilities

You will oversee the staff and volunteer teams at Visitor Welcome and the Grooms Second Hand Bookshop, maintaining high service standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day operations of welcome areas and the bookshop.
• Delivering excellent service and visitor experience.
• Coordinating with the property leadership team to support operational functions.
• Handling visitor inquiries and operational challenges.
