Youth Engagement Officer – Premier League Inspires & Made in Fulham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and inspiring Youth Engagement Officer to join the Foundation team, with responsibility for supporting the development, coordination, and delivery of two programmes: Premier League Inspires and Made in Fulham.

Programme Overview

The Premier League Inspires programme is a targeted intervention designed to engage young people who are struggling at school or are at risk of exclusion. In collaboration with the programme lead, you will mentor young people, deliver qualifications, and provide them with real-world learning opportunities to inspire and re-engage them academically.

Made in Fulham is another initiative supported by the Premier League and the Professional Footballers’ Association. This programme aids aspiring coaches in taking their first steps into a coaching career, having successfully supported 81% of its participants into education, training, or employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor participants in both sport and academic settings.
• Plan and deliver various sport and classroom-based activities.
• Foster relationships with internal and external partners.
• Manage workloads effectively while working under pressure.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:

• FA Level 1 Qualification
• FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
• FA First Aid Certificate
• Experience in mentoring and supporting the development of young people.
